Apex CoVantage got an express connection to the Internet… from Donet.

When Apex CoVantage moved to its new offices, they wanted high speed, affordable Internet, redundancy for added security, and they needed to be up and running right away.

Finding the perfect combination wasn’t as easy as you might think.

As Brad Chamberlain, Manager of Network Services at Apex CoVantage, explained, “We talked to AT&T, to Time Warner, and no one could deliver service in under 20 to 30 days.”

“Luckily, we already had a relationship with Donet. They understood our need, and said they could get their Ethernet Express service up in four to five days. And they did.”

Through its unique service, Etherent Express, Donet takes multiple circuits and binds them together for a fatter upload and download pipe to deliver speeds of up to 50 megabits per second. There are even full duplex options for VoIP, VPN and terminal services.

“As a leading global knowledge process outsourcing provider, information transfer and acquisition are critical to Apex CoVantage’s operations,” added Chamberlain. “We’re using a hosted PBX system; all phone calls are SIP tracking. We need a service that could prioritize traffic—not everyone can do that.“
