The past few weeks have all been about getting the roughed-in electrical and HVAC work done in preparation for our first round of inspections. I’m happy to say that our architectural and construction teams passed them without difficulty.
Up to this point we have been framing the facility and getting a great deal of the administrative space wired and cooled, but we are now proceeding into a very exciting phase: the beginning of substantive work inside the data center itself.
We’ve laid out the raised floor grid and the locations for ladder racks, cabinets, and power distribution units. The installation of the chilled water pipe loop is about to begin, and the chillers themselves will go onto the roof near the end of the first week of September. Additionally, we expect the APC Symmetra UPS units to be delivered and installed in the next couple of weeks.
This week marks the beginning of a very exciting time!

A company is only as good as the people who work there. And in Donet's case, those people are simply exceptional. Bright. Inventive. Rock-solid.
