Using our EMC/Avamar enterprise class data backup system (incidentally, THE best backup technology available today), we offer fast, efficient, and reliable protection of your data offsite in our own Data Center. You can opt to back up files hosted on a server in one of Donetʼs facilities, or you can use your existing Internet connection to upload critical data at your business to our equipment. Either way, your data is safely backed up and stored off site.
Weʼre all about redundancy, so we back up your backup. Your data is encrypted before itʼs transmitted from your server to ours. Then we encrypt the data stored on disk. Each server uses RAID to protect against disk failure, as well as RAIN (redundant array of independent nodes), which protects against a complete server failure in our backup grid.
